It’s no secret that I’m a hockey fan and I have seen a ton of games but this might be the craziest ending to a game I have ever seen. A hockey rink in North America is 200 feet by 85 feet so when a person scores from 200 feet away you know something isn’t quite right.

The University of Denver was playing Utah State with the game on over-time. College hockey is just like the NHL in over-times the first team to score wins the game. With less than 15 seconds left in over-time there was a face-off in the Denver end but someone should of told the Utah State goalie.

The Utah State goalie was out of the goal when the official drops the puck. Denver wins the draw and with a quick shot down the ice the game was over. The lesson here is keep your head in the game at all times.
