The Rockies Are Coming To Junction
It's a tiny glimmer of hope that winter won't last forever. For the first time in 2017, we can think spring and baseball. The Colorado Rockies caravan is coming to Junction this Thursday.
Training camp starts in about 3 weeks. 2017 marks the 25th season for the Rockies franchise. Next week, new manager Bud Black and several players will get a jump-start on spring.
Monday through Saturday, the Rockies will travel through Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
The Grand Junction stop is Thursday afternoon January 26th. Personnel scheduled to appear are manager Bud Black and players Jon Gray, David Dahl, and Tom Murphy. A public meet and greet will be at the Lincoln Park Barn from 1-2 p.m.
So fans it's time to play hooky from school or skip out early from work and hang with the Rockies. Go spring! Go baseball! Go Rockies!
