Trust me, I've seen Brit Floyd several times. There's no better Floyd tribute band on the planet and no better venue to take in this show than Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

For those of you that may not know, Brit Floyd is not just "a" tribute band, they are "the" Pink Floyd tribute band. Formed in 2011 in Liverpool, England their live shows emulate and recreate the sound and soundscape of Pink Floyd's live shows at the highest level. Damian Darlington formed the band after playing with The Australian Pink Floyd Show for nearly 20 years.

I've caught the show in Little Rock, Kansas City, and Wichita, and they've never disappointed. Perhaps it's all those shows. All those years of touring and working to recreate every detail that's made Brit Floyd the standard, of not just Pink Floyd tribute bands, but of all tribute bands.

It all started with Damian Darlington. He created the band simply because he felt he could do it one better than his previous band, The Australian Pink Floyd Show. Says Damian, "there is much more attention to details in every aspect of the show, from the music to the visuals to the lighting: everything is that much more perfected and there's a passion coming off that stage... It's a coherent, emotional journey through Pink Floyd's catalog."

It's one of the most anticipated rock events of the year. This time it's Brit Floyd with a new stage show "Pink Floyd Immersion World Tour". The spectacle of a Pink Floyd concert experience is recaptured in high-definition sound, and with a million dollar light show that's second to none.

Of course, you'll hear all your favorites from The Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, and The Division Bell, plus this year Brit Floyd pays special tribute to the Animals album, this year celebrating its 40th anniversary.

This band has truly become a phenomenon. They continue to recreate the scale and pomp of Floyd's final 1994 Division Bell tour, complete with circle screen and multiple moving light design, lasers, inflatables, and theatrics.

The show is Thursday, June 8th at 8 p.m. Get your tickets by clicking HERE.
