Red Rocks Announces First 2018 Concerts
Red Rocks Amphitheater announces its first six concerts in 2018.
For over 100 years Red Rocks have hosted world-class concerts. It's truly live music "holy ground." The list of iconic bands and concerts is mindblowing. Included are the likes of The Beatles the summer of 1964, Jimi Hendrix in 1968, The Grateful Dead in July of 1978, and perhaps the most iconic of them all the June 5th, 1983 U2 performance released as the best-selling concert video and the MTV staple "Under a Blood Red Sky."
The legend of Red Rocks continues in 2018. The first shows on the schedule include the annual "Winter On The Rocks" show with Mac Miller and Jauz on January 26th. That spring its the "4/20 Eve" show with 311 and Method Man & Redman on April 19th. The X Ambassadors are set for May 3rd. The Barenaked Ladies are scheduled for June 19th with opening act Better Than Ezra and KT Tunstall. Later next summer its Brandi Carlile on August 12th and One Direction's Niall Horan on his solo tour August 20th.
More shows will be announced soon. For the latest on what's happening at Red Rocks and ticket info click HERE. The shows I attended recently were the highlight of my summer. It's an amazing place and well with the drive across the divide. There is simply no place like it on earth.
