Now that the weather is just warm enough, isn't it time to go fishing?

Water levels continue to drop at lakes and reservoirs across Colorado.

I'd like to ask is Colorado's Blue Mesa Reservoir half empty or half full? Unfortunately, it's more than half empty and less than half full. Fact is, it hasn't been this empty since the 1980s.

Blue Mesa Reservoir is currently at 39% capacity.

Fall is my favorite time to go fishing. The cooler temps make a day out on the lake or walking along a stream, more enjoyable. The fish seem to sense that winter in on the way as well and usually bite better.

The federal government is going to check the integrity of the Blue Mesa Reservoir dam which is pushing 50 years old.
