Southwest Arbor Fest Kicks Off at 11am

The 12th annual Southwest Arbor Fest will kick off at 11am in Lincoln Park. It will be fun for the whole family with free tree seedlings, while supplies last, Touch-A-Truck and live music. There is also the pepper-eating contest, I always enjoy watching this contest but I wonder what the next morning is like for the contestants? For those who are 21 or older this year there is huge craft beer expo with over 20 beers to taste. There is a salsa competition and the chili cook off. I have been working my chili and this year I will have to say it should be a killer pot of chili. A full day of fun at the 12th annual Southwest Fest starts Saturday at 11am, see you there.
