Skier Dies After Colliding With a Tree at Eldora Mountain Resort
In a sad update Thursday (March 5) afternoon, the Boulder County Sheriff released an update regarding a 37-year-old skier who passed away at Eldora Mountain Resort around noon.
In a press release, the BCS said that the skier "sustained critical injuries as result of colliding with a tree on the Corona ski run." Despite the fact that a Flight For Life helicopter was dispatched, the man was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.
The Boulder County Sheriff's Office, in working with witness accounts, determined that there was no suspicious activity and no other skiers were involved in the incident.
