School District 51 To Hold Book Give-away

Get all the materials you need for summer reading (FOR FREE) at the Annual District 51 Book Giveaway event!

Mesa County Valley School District 51 will have its annual book give-away this Thursday (June 13) and Friday (June 14) at the Grand Mesa Middle School gym, 585 31 ½ Road in Grand Junction.

The event will run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. The public is invited to come and take as many books as one can carry.

Available books include library books and textbooks from every grade level and in many subjects. The books are gently used and are out of date, or the district can’t use them due to curriculum updates. The books are still considered great reading material for kids, and are free.

Everyone who plans to pick up books are encouraged to bring their own boxes and manpower.
