Save a Life This Thursday at the Grand Junction Downtown Farmers Market
The final downtown Farmers Market of 2016 will showcase incredible produce, arts and crafts, delicious treats, live music, and your chance to save a life. The St. Mary's Bloodmobile will return to the farmers market this Thursday for your chance to give the gift of life by donating blood.
The Bloodmobile made an appearance at the farmers market about a month ago, and it was a runaway hit. The turnout exceeded all expectations. The staff at the Bloodmobile eventually ran out of supplies, including the little bags where they store the blood and were forced to turn people away.
Wouldn't it be awesome if that same thing happened again? It could. Be a part of this awesome blood drive.
So, aside from saving lives, what's in it for you? For starters, with your blood donation, you'll receive a blood donor t-shirt. Donors will also get a certificate for a meal from Qdoba.
The St. Mary's Bloodmobile will be at the farmers market this Thursday, September 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of 5th and Main.
