Saturday Night Get To Crusier’s

Tomorrow night it's The Mammoths at Cruisers. It's the best show so far in 2017 so grab your crew and get there early.

Our phone connection sucked this afternoon. We tried to get a 3-way call going from a moving tour bus, a band member back in Austin, and myself in the 95 Rock studio. The audio wasn't good but the message was delivered. The Mammoths are a show you won't want to miss.

Comprised of four members: lead singer David Kapsner; lead guitarist Michael Jekot; bass player Tyler Rush; and percussionist Tim Durand, The Mammoths have found their sweet spot in blending elements of blues and psych into their songwriting. These guys rock too.

The bands have been rock'n since they were teenagers. I asked them what life is like for a band hanging in the live music capital of North America, Austin, TX? They said "it's like being a part of an exclusive club. Most bands are supportive, hanging out sharing riffs and ideas"
