Salvation Army Is Gifted With New Bikes
The Salvation Army is receiving 12 new bicycles. Not just bikes, but quality bikes valued at over $500 each! These were gifted to help raise money for those in need in Mesa County.
What's even more incredible is that they were all purchased by an anonymous donor. The story is a gentleman walked into Brown Cycles and purchased the bikes with the only wish was that they are delivered to the Salvation Army Thrift Store. How cool is that?
Just reminder, when you make a purchase at The Salvation Army Thrift Store those funds are used to fund the Addiction Recovery Program that is located here in Grand Junction. It is a 6 month, residential program that houses approximately 32 beneficiaries, both men and women.
This generous gift was delivered this morning at 10:30 am to The Salvation Army Thrift Store located at 240 North Avenue, Grand Junction. So if you're in need of a bicycle now you can get yourself one and help a great cause all at the same time. There is still good in the world. God bless the kindness of those that give.
