Rare Cloud Formation Happened Over Colorado (VIDEO)

Colorado is no stranger to unique weather phenomena. But, the clouds that appeared over Breckenridge the other day were truly spectacular - even by our high sky standards. 

ABC News reported several Instagram users captured pictures and video of these breaking wave clouds. There's a more scientific explanation which we can't even begin to understand.

We have no idea who this Kelvin-Helmholtz person is but we agree they are cool-looking clouds.
