In 1921, the town of Swallows, Colorado, experienced a flood so massive that today, only a cemetery remains.

It's been said that the town is currently under the lake, and cowbells from long-gone former residents can be heard at night.

Locals have reported a tall, shadowy figure known as "The Shadow Walker" walking the south shore of the lake after dark. This figure is said to be the spirit of a man who drowned in the lake back in the 1980s.

Some have reported seeing a water serpent with glowing red eyes in the lake after dark, similar in appearance to the Loch Ness Monster. This creature is known by the locals as "Pueblo Pete."
