POLL: Dispensaries Should be Allowed in Grand Junction

When I moved to Grand Junction over a year ago, I found myself shocked that marijuana dispensaries are not allowed in town. I previously lived in Fort Collins and Pueblo, Colorado, where dispensaries were all over the place. I saw what the tax revenue did to help communities in Pueblo and Huerfano counties, including upgrades to schools, job creation, and an overall boost to the economy.

So, I asked a question on Facebook to see what you thought, and the response to whether or not dispensaries should be allowed was a resounding "yes."

In fact, of the 70 comments I received, only one was opposed to the idea, but it was filled with sarcasm, indicating that the author wasn't opposed to the idea after all. Here's why you think dispensaries should be allowed in Grand Junction.
