We've heard stories like this with local tow companies doing drive-by parades for kids that are celebrating a birthday right now during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's tough for the kids to be inside and not able to hang out with their friends as we are all being asked to practice social distancing during this time.

Erin Davis of Palisade had a kid that was celebrating a birthday and really wanted to do something special seeing as getting together for a celebration simply cannot happen at this time. So, she reached out to our first responders to see if they could do anything special to brighten up the birthday.

It didn't take long for the Police and Fire departments to come together and do a mini-parade for the birthday celebration and even got out of their vehicles to sing "Happy Birthday". It is a tremendous gesture during a difficult time.

The video is definitely worth watching, and our first responders deserve a huge THANK YOU! For not only taking care of us and protecting our community during these difficult times but also taking time to make a kid's birthday extra special.
