With just three weeks left in the college football season there is no SEC team in the BCS title game, this marks the first time in six years that has happened.

Saturday Texas A&M upset Alabama knocking the Tide to fourth in the BCS standings. Kansas State is the new #1 with Oregon #2 and  Norte Dame at #3 and with just three weeks left Alabama will need two of the three teams in front of them to lose to get a shot at a third title in four years.

Alabama fans there is hope. Two of the three teams in front of the Tide have freshman quarterbacks (Oregon & Notre Dame) and all three teams have never been the hunted in November.

Kansas State has two games left this Saturday at Baylor then Dec 1st at home against Texas. The Texas game could be a tough game for K-State as the Longhorns have been playing well down the stretch.

Oregon has three games left this Saturday against Stanford, next weekend at Oregon State then the PAC 12 championship game. The Oregon State game is the one to watch as the Beavers always play the Ducks tough.

Notre Dame has two games left Wake Forest this Saturday at South Bend and they wrap up the season on the road at USC November 24th. The USC game is the one to watch here. The Trojans are always tough at home, no matter what the record, and over the past few years they have had the Irish’s number.

Oh, let’s not forget the dark horse in this the Georgia Bulldogs. The 9-1 Bulldogs could find themselves in the title game if the cards play out the right way. So, football fans sit back and enjoy what should be a great end to the 2012 college football season. I know I will.
