If you somehow missed the eclipse, I'm not sure how that's possible, but if so, your next chance to see one here in Colorado will be awhile.

28 years to be exact. The next solar eclipse visible in Colorado will be August 12, 2045. For some of us that may not be an option. The addition of another nearly 3 decades to my current birthday tally will put me in the "somewhat possible" category.

Yes, it's true there's another eclipse visible in the US in just 7 years. In 2024 a path of totality will cross the country but not over Colorado.

The 2045 event will start in California and end in Florida. The path of totality will be wider too so more can check it out. Plus, it's on a Saturday so you'll not have to miss work to take it in. For all the info on future eclipses click HERE. It's the Great American Eclipse page. It's loaded with about everything you need to know about these kinds of things. In less than a couple hours the deal was over today. Let the countdown begin to 2045.  I really hope to see you there!
