Marine’s Custom Mountain Bike Stolen in Ft Collins
While visiting Colorado, a Marine had his custom-made mountain bike stolen off the back of his car. This wasn't just any mountain bike, the bike was loaned to him by the Ride2Recovery organization.
Robert Kugler took to social media seeking the bikes return.
This isn't the first time Kugler made waves on social media. In 2015, his chocolate lab, Bella, was diagnosed with cancer and given six months to live. Kugler decided to take Bella on an epic journey to fully live her last days, which he shared with the world on Instagram.
Now, Kugler is searching for his missing one-of-a-kind mountain bike. He told 9News in Denver, "This was given to me by an organization, ridden previously by a Vietnam veteran, a friend of mine, who had given it to me after he was done riding it. It has a lot of nostalgic value to me."
There are only 10 bikes like this in the world, which would make selling the bike as a whole utterly impossible.
Kugler told 9News, It's pretty unique, I think we can track it down.
Hopefully, Kugler's bike can be returned safely.
