The day after Labor Day Weekend is one just about everyone dreads. The feeling that summer is wrapping up and the fun events are winding down is overwhelming. But, hey, we in Grand Junction don't have to wait long before our next opportunity for fun happens. In fact, we'll be partying again in less than a week!

Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, we have Colorado Pork and Hops in Lincoln Park. Pop Evil and Royal Bliss will be providing the tunes while just about everybody else provides beer and BBQ. Win! Wild country dudes, Montgomery Gentry, join the celebration Saturday night.

Dinosaurs more your thing? No problem  Jurassic Quest will prowl the Mesa County Fairgrounds this Friday, Saturday and Sunday also with all sorts of dinosaur things present and accounted for.

Just a few weeks after Pork and Hops and Jurassic Quest, we'll be flying - literally - with the Grand Junction Air Show featuring the USAF Thunderbirds.

We would list more events, but that would sound like bragging since we almost always have something fun to do here in the Grand Valley!
