Colorado Pork and Hops

We had the chance to hang out with Matt DiRito, the dude that brings the bass thunder in Pop Evil, prior to their performance at Colorado Pork and Hops. He shared the vibe that he and the band felt recording new album "Up", Colorado heat and what bands they'll be spending the rest of 2015 with.

The day after Labor Day Weekend is one just about everyone dreads. The feeling that summer is wrapping up and the fun events are winding down is overwhelming. But, hey, we in Grand Junction don't have to wait long before our next opportunity for fun happens. In fact, we'll be partying again in less than a week!

Royal Bliss will be joining us at Colorado Pork and Hops on Friday, September 11 at Lincoln Park in Grand Junction, Colo. along with headliners Pop Evil. Maybe you've been fortunate enough to see them live before. If not, you're in for a treat at Pork and Hops. There are a lot of things you can do to prepare for Colorado Pork and Hops. Training yourself  to try and resist the smell drifting your way from the professional BBQ teams is one thing. As for us, we are doing what we always do - loading our ears with the loudest rock we possibly can...

You've hopefully heard Pop Evil on 95 Rock by now. If not, we're in trouble cause we play them all the time. But, Pop Evil is one of those bands that you can't truly appreciate until you see them live. Great news! You can see them at Colorado Pork and Hops on Friday, September 11 with special guests Royal Bliss.

Colorado Pork and Hops Challenge is set for September 11 and 12. While we can't wait for this year's event which features performances by Pop Evil, Royal Bliss and Montgomery Gentry, we look back fondly at Pork and Hops from the past. Can you spot yourself in any of these videos?

We live in a great area.  Thanks to the fact that we live in between some huge metro areas (thanks Denver and Salt Lake), we have some great live concerts that land near us.  We've just had some of the best bands in the land at the Jam Ranch for the Loudwire Music Festival and the summer is just getting started.
