2026 Brings New Pizza Festival to Colorado – Here’s What We Know

When you think of all the people in Colorado who love great pizza, holding a festival with over 20 pizza joints coming together sounds like a fantastic idea. People will be coming from Denver and Northern Colorado to take part in this food, beer, and fun event.

When is the Inaugural Colorado Pizza Festival in Longmont?

The first Colorado Pizza Festival takes place Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 4th and Kimbark in Downtown Longmont. It's great that these pizzerias have come together to celebrate pizza, beer, and live music, while also helping to feed the hungry.

Maybe it's just that there are so many occasions to have pizza that it's one of the most popular food items around. You can have it for birthdays, football watching parties, moving, an office meeting, a softball celebration; the list goes on and on.

How Much Are Tickets to the Colorado Pizza Festival?

General Admission tickets are $20 (total), or you can go big and get a "Golden Ticket" for $58.18 (total), which gets you all the pizza you can eat. All proceeds from the day's event will benefit local charities helping to fight food insecurity:  Slice Out Hunger, Longmont Food Rescue, Community Food Share, and Colorado Friendship,

Colorado is known for having its fair share of beer festivals every year; having a festival centered around pizza is a great change of pace for the state. This isn't some small-time event either, as they're planning on having over 20 pizzerias from Longmont and all over Colorado on the scene. In addition, there'll be local beers, live music, and more.

Amateurs Will Participate in This Colorado Pizza Festival

Not only will attendees to the Colorado Pizza Festival have the chance to try some great pizzas made by professionals, but amateurs will also be serving up their best, in the hopes of one day having their own pizza joint. "Start Small, Aim Big," as they say. You could go, and then find out, years later, that they've "made it."

Two Pizza Ovens Will Be Given Away During the Festival

During the festival, they'll be selling $5 sweepstakes tickets (money going to the charities) with two winners, each getting a Forna Bravo wood-fired pizza oven. You could walk away with the beginnings of your own pizzeria.

Olympics and Kids Activities at Colorado Pizza Festival

The Colorado Pizza Festival, held in Longmont on September 5, 2026, will also include the pizzerias competing in the "Pizza Olympics" who knows what exactly those will entail. Kids will have their own area of activities, too (kids 12 and under will get in for free.)
