Is Big Head Todd At Red Rocks The “Most Colorado”?
What's the one thing that best represents Colorado?
As I was enjoying an awesome night at Red Rocks last Saturday night, I was thinking "this has got to be one of the most "Colorado" things a person can do." I mean here's Big Head Todd & The Monsters, a Colorado band throwing this huge annual party at perhaps the best amphitheater on the planet. It's got to be at or near the top of such a list.
So what is that one thing that best represents Colorado? Catchng a trophy trout in a secluded streach of a Colorado river?, attending a Broncos game at the old Mile High?, The Rocky Mountain National Park? Country Jam?, hiking to Hanging Lake, camping at Maroon Bells, Pikes Peak, skiing in Aspen, Colorado Mountain Winefest? If you had to pick one thing, what would it be?
While you ponder that, enjoy these shots from Big Head Todd & The Monsters at Red Rocks.
Also too, if you're not familiar with the band Blackberry Smoke, allow me to enlighten you. They're great! They remind me of early Black Crowes with an extra shot of southern rock added. "Too rock for country, too country for rock" is their motto. They've been around for years but many still aren't aware.
