In a recently released list of Colorado's Safest Cities, Grand Junction finished near the bottom. Is safety an issue here?

Grand Junction ranked lower than Denver. That's according to the Safe Home website. Their Safety Score score is based on several factors. It starts with the FBI's latest reports of how many, and what kinds of crime occurred in that city in a given year. Next, in which way is that crime trending, up or down? Also included in the matrix is population density, population trends, unemployment, average income, education, and the ratio of law enforcement officers compared to the population.
