Grand Junction Resident Cody Germany’s Death Ruled Homicide

An investigation continues in the death of a Grand Junction man that happened earlier this morning, the death was declared a homicide.

This morning around 4 AM, Mesa County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 3100 block of D 1/2 Road, Grand Junction, after receiving received a call of a gunshot heard in the area of the residential address. Patrol deputies initially found one adult male deceased in the driveway area.

The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has completed its examination regarding the death of
Cody Germany, a 54 year-old male resident of Grand Junction.

Germany was the man involved in the incident early this morning. The manner of death is homicide.
