Urgent Email Sent Out Today

Earlier this week I received an email from the St. Mary's Regional Blood Center. This email was not the typical reminder to donate. This one came with a certain gravity. The email said:

Hello blood donor. We need your help. We have many appointments available and are having trouble filling them. Will you donate blood?

I'm Overdue To Donate

My last donation was almost four months ago. The blood center will call me when it's time to donate again. They called me about two months ago to remind me I was eligible again. Unfortunately, I was waiting for results from a COVID test and couldn't donate.

Waylon's Top 5 Reasons Why You Should Donate Blood

Here's my list, a list that has been shared hundreds of times, of my top five reasons why you should donate blood at the St. Mary's Regional Blood Center. In my opinion, all five reasons are valid. The one that gets me, though, is the fifth item on the list. This can happen at any time, without warning, maybe to someone you know... maybe even you.

START SCROLLING: Small Colorado Towns Known for Big Things

Colorado is full of towns and cities of all sizes. If you're on the front range, you have the majority of big populated cities. Move more towards the east and west, and these towns get smaller and smaller.

Just because some of these towns are populated by very few people, that doesn't mean they are not home to big things.

Let's take a look at these small Colorado towns known for big things.

You Know You're From Colorado When...

We all remember the Jeff Foxworthy jokes back in the day "you might be a redneck". What made those ridiculous stereotypes so funny is because they had just a tiny bit of truth to them. Well along those same lines I wanted to highlight a few ways of thinking that everyone from Colorado has. They are not bad things, just the way we do things and go about our business around here.

So here is a list of ways 'You Know You're From Colorado':
