I own a number of rental houses in this area. One of which, about three blocks from here, is financially destroying me as we speak. It was a bad investment. A few years ago I sold another income property, one about four blocks from this house, and make a killing.

Twenty-some years ago I purchased a house about a block from this one. Looking back, I believe I paid about $30,000 for it. That's what I said, $30,000. I sold it years ago. My guess is that house is now worth as much as the house featured here. Imagine that - buying a house for $30K, renting it out, letting someone else essentially buy it for you, and then selling it for almost seven times what you paid for it. Not bad.

Put simply, you win some, and you lose some. I made good and bad decisions along the way. Handled properly, this home could represent an incredible investment.
