If you love classic cars and awesome motorcycles, you may be interested in a holiday weekend event in Grand Junction.
The car show season is in full bloom in western Colorado and we've got a pretty cool event happening this weekend in Grand Junction.
Rods and Hogs Car & Motorcycle Show
The only thing better than a classic car show is when you combine it with some lean, mean motorcycle machines and that's what is happening this Saturday at the Grand Junction Harley-Davidson. It's the Rods & Hogs Car and Motorcycle Show.
Great Weather in the Forecast
The Grand Valley forecast is looking fantastic for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend. Saturday's high should be around 90 - which is perfect car show weather. Tank tops, shorts, and flip-flops will be the preferred attire for car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Actually, it doesn't matter what you wear as long as you look cool and feel cool.
The show for pre-1981 cars and motorcycles starts Saturday at 10:00 a.m. The car show will feature food and drinks, prizes, music, and some really cool classic cars and show motorcycles. Best of all, admission to the show is free for spectators.
Living the Dream
I love cool motorcycles and classic cars, but I'm never going to own one. That's why shows like this are so much fun. We get a chance to live out our fantasies through others who are fortunate enough to own one of these beauties. Let's all be honest here. You go to a car show and in your mind, you imagine yourself behind the wheel of one of those hot rods tooling down the highway with the wind blowing in your hair. It's okay to admit it - we all do it.
Your holiday weekend may be jam-packed with activities, but here's one you might want to add to the list. Rods and Hogs will be a great start to the weekend.
