Celebrate our nation's independence with your skis strapped on!

For the first time in nearly a decade, there will be skiing Independence Day at Arapahoe Basin. It’s the first time the resort has been open on the 4th of July 4 since 2011. The A-Basin ski season started way back in mid-October. After suffering under a couple of years of drought conditions the 2018-19 season will go down as one of Colorado's best. This year has been epic for sure but nothing compares to the 1995 season, that year A-Basin stayed open until August 10th!

The extended spring ski season was a boost to the local economy. Nearly 7 FT of snow fell in the month of March adding to an already impressive total. The cool spring and additional snow allowed for extending the season which will now stretch into July!

The Black Mountain Express and Lenawee lifts will be in operation from 8:30 AM. to 2:30 PM on the 4th of July. Full-day adult lift tickets are $69 or flash your season pass and save $10. If your crew gets hungry, the 6th Alley Bar and Grill will be serving food from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM on the 4th as well.  Arapahoe Basin suggests to carpool to the resort as they expect huge crowds for this special Independence  Day event!
