1996 was not the best year at the box office for comedies. It was the year of Cable Guy with Jim Carrey, Marz Attacks, Kingpin, Multiplicity, and a few others. It was ok. Then we get this goofy golf comedy out of nowhere and it becomes one of the most remembered films of that year. We're talking about "Happy Gilmore" which starred Adam Sandler.

We remember it, we loved it, but did you know that "Happy Gilmore" still has ties to Colorado to this day?
