It's one of the most fun days you can have with your furry family member, Dog Days at Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool is quickly approaching. This is when you get to bring your dogs to the pool to jump in and meet other doggies.

This will be the 16th annual Dog Days at Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool in Grand Junction and if you've thought about it in the past but never actually brought your dogs to the fun event you should make it happen this year. The event is set to take place on Saturday, October 3rd from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

You can expect to see lots of happy dogs splashing in the water, chasing tennis balls, and playing with frisbees on the lawn. This event is all about the dogs, no humans are allowed to enter the pool.

Due to COVID-19 everyone in attendance is being asked to be considerate of other canine parents and maintain a safe physical distance away from others. There will be a maximum capacity of 175 humans allowed, so you might want to show up early if you really want to take part in this event.

The cost is $5 per dog, if you're bringing 3 or 4 dogs from the same family it's going to cost you $12. All proceeds raised during Dog Days will be donated to the Roice-Hurst Humane Society and the Billy Crawford Memorial Scholarship Fund.

There is a special small dog only time set for 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. After 11 a.m. the pool will be open to dogs of all sizes. If you want to know more click here to visit the Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Facebook event page.
