Deer Wanders Into King Soopers in Northern Colorado
Here's something that screams "Totally Colorado". Monday night, a female deer decided to do a little shopping at a Longmont King Soopers. I know, this sounds like a setup to a joke, but it's not.
The incident happened at the King Soopers located on South Hover Street on the evening of May 6th. The deer went through the produce and deli section before taking refuge in another area of the grocery store. Longmont Police responded to the call and kept watch over the deer until Colorado Parks and Wildlife arrived to remove the deer from the store. The deer sustained minor injuries and was released back into the wild.
