Crime of the Week: Break In, Stolen Credit Cards
Here is further evidence that leaving your wallet and credit cards in your vehicle is a bad idea.
On Friday, February 1, someone broke into a vehicle parked in the 2800 block of Village Park Drive. Inside the locked vehicle was a wallet with credit cards. The thief managed to use the credit cards at City Market, Safeway, Walmart, and Redbox.
Fortunately, security cameras captured an image of the suspect, described as a white male, 20-30 years old, average height, thin build and mustache, gray beanie, and a two-toned gray hoodie. He was last seen leaving in a red Nissan Juke type SUV.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspect or his identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 241-7867 anonymously. Information leading to an arrest could be worth up to a $1000 cash reward.
