Creative Avenues To Host Summer Fun Kick-off Party

Are you looking for something to do this summer? Or do you know someone (whether they’re youth or adult) who’s looking for something to do this summer? Creative Avenues just might have an answer for you.

This Saturday (June 8), Creative Avenues will host a Summer Fun Kick-off Party from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Creative Avenues, 835 North 26th Street in Grand Junction (it’s located right behind the old Hobby Lobby store in the Teller Arms Shopping Center).

Several workshops (all free) are scheduled throughout Saturday morning so that anyone who attends can have a sampling of what classes are available this summer.

Here’s a sampling of what to expect this Saturday:

• 10:00 a.m. – Hip Hop Dance
• 10:30 a.m. – Lyrical Dance
• 10:30 a.m. – Music and Voice
• 11:00 a.m. – Music Theater Dance
• 11:30 a.m. – Jazz and Leaps/Turns
• 11:30 a.m. – Music and Voice

Other items to check out include Origami, Arts & Crafts, and much more.

Food will be on sale to benefit the Creative Avenues Dance Company.
