Colorado Humane Society Sadly Ends Its Operation in October
As the final days of the Humane Society of Weld County come to an end, a push to empty the shelter is underway. If you want to add a new pet to your family, you might want to take advantage of this opportunity as there will be no adoption fees.
The Humane Society of Weld County is being dissolved and Larimer Humane Society will take over operations. Currently, there are over 50 animals available to adopt at the Humane Society of Weld County and one of them could be your next best friend.
The reason for the Humane Society's operations ending is that many challenges have made it hard for the county to stay in operation. On October 2, the Larimer County Humane Society will fully take over operations at Weld County's shelter located at 1620 42nd Street in Evans, Colorado.
Missing Pets in Weld County
if you have recently lost your pet, they could be located at the Humane Society of Weld County. All reclaim fees for pets at the Humane Society of Weld County will be waived in the final days. However, the Humane Society of Weld County does not control the costs of animal control entities for an animal at large.
To adopt a pet from the Humane Society of Weld County this weekend, hours of operation on Saturday and Sunday are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. See the animals available for adoption at WeldCountyHumane.org.
