The Toys for Tots warehouse in Aurora said it is in desperate need of toy donations this holiday season.

As organizations lined up for their toy orders on Monday, they were told that there were not enough toys. Many of these great organizations get a load of toys from Toys for Tots, then take them back to their local communities to give to children in need.

Jody Nickerson said this to The Denver Channel:

Many of us were saying in line, 'We'll even take half of what we requested,' at least to give some of them some gifts and then work from there.

Toys for Tots said the reason for the low amount of toys is because of more requests and low donations.

Toys for Tots is open and will be accepting donations through Thursday. If you're interested in donating toys find out more HERE.
