Colorado Music Festival to Benefit Young Musicians
Any musician will likely tell you that not only were they first exposed to creating and/or playing music in grade school, but that the experience changed their life for the better in the long run.
Musicians have a deep-seated passion for keeping music in schools so that today's youth aren't left out and an organization known as the Rocky Mountain Music Society has made this type of effort one of their goals.
The festival that the Rocky Mountain Music Society will be putting on is going by the name of the Rocky Rock Music Festival and Fundraiser and will take place on August 31 at the Ute Pass Cultural Center in Woodland Park, Colorado.
The festival will feature a total of 12 bands, local art, vendors, prizes, and more. Plus, proceeds from the festival will go toward providing musical instruments to Colorado children as well as the schools they attend.
