No that's not a mistake. Union Pacific Railroad is looking for help and is prepared to pay quite nicely for it.

In a job posting by the company, they offered the bonus to encourage people to apply. Check this out. $4,000 will be paid after your second week of training, $6,000 after the probationary period and $10,000 approximately 18 to 20 months after your start date.

But that's just the bonus. That's on top of the $40,000 a year salary you will receive. The only catch is you have to stay employed for a full year. Oh and there's one more piece of information you will want to know.

No experience necessary.

You will work on a train crew, uncoupling and coupling cars, and all of the other jobs you would expect to do on a train. You have to be at least 18 years of age, pass several tests and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If you think this is something you might enjoy doing, and don't mind being on call all the time, go apply and good luck!
