A Colorado man says he is the "rightful"  King of Great Britain, and he plans to take the throne.

According to Scotsman.com, the man's name is Allan V. Evans and he says he is a resident of Colorado, but we don't know exactly where.

Among other things, Evans is quoted as saying he is a "direct descendant of an unbroken primogeniture line regally documented since the 3rd century in Great Britain and registered in the Royal College of Arms", although we aren't exactly sure what that means.

There is an advertisement in the London newspaper  calling for all "Welshmen, Scots, Manx, all Britons, and all citizens of this Great Nation called Great Britain” to “take heed and rejoice” at the return of the rightful king."

The advertisement says he will "claim his royal historic estate" in 30 days - but he won't take the throne until the queen dies.

I guess only time will tell if King Allan ascends to the throne - and if it doesn't work out like he expects, maybe he can be the next "burger" king. At least he would be king.
