A Historic Colorado Town Offers Creepy Tours All Summer

Many of the old mining towns have been abandoned and are mere ghost towns these days, but some of them are not just still around, but serve as destinations for tourists and locals alike.
One historic Colorado mining town that may seem like it's on the verge of being a ghost town celebrates its history and offers tours that are, well, a little creepy in nature.
Victor Colorado Offers Creepy Tours All Summer
The historic mining town of Victor, Colorado is located just west of Colorado Springs near Cripple Creek, another historic town that serves as a gambling hub.
For history buffs who have a fascination with the macabre, Victor is the perfect place to indulge these interests all summer long.
One experience is known as The Stranger Side of Victor and according to the town's website, is a unique opportunity to "Learn about some of the twisted history of Victor. This one-hour tour begins at the museum and uses city streets and alleys."
Another tour, known as Spirits of Sunnyside takes place at the cemetery just outside of the town where tourists can "Walk along with your guide and learn about some of [the] pioneers who lived and died in Victor."
Both experiences take place every other Saturday between June 8 and August 24, 2024.
