On Monday, September 23, 2024, the Grand Junction Guitar Club will be meeting in the city's Sherwood Park right across from the First Christian Church. This open jam will take place from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
In addition, musicians are welcome to bring their acoustic instruments to the park to jam along.
This meet-up will also serve as a way to network with other local musicians and even seek out beginner guitar or ukulele lessons which, according to the Guitar Club's official flyer, are free.
The Guitar Club of Grand Junction places heavy emphasis on the "love of music" and "raising up music in the Grand Valley," encouraging musicians to come together, network, and learn from one another in a fun environment.
