CDOT is looking to fill seasonal and full-time positions.

The job openings include seasonal snowplow drivers and maintenance workers. There are open positions statewide as well as in West Central and Southwest Colorado. CDOT is looking to fill some permanent positions too. Those jobs come with full benefits and promotional opportunities.  A housing stipend comes with some jobs where travel and relocation are required.

There is a current shortage of CDL drivers. To help lure drivers and workers CDOT is upping the rate of pay from $19 to $22 an hour. If you're not sure about a seasonal position. They can last up to 9 months and CDOT does promote from within. With hard work and dependability that "seasonal" position could very well become permanent. “Nationwide, there’s a shortage of drivers that have a commercial driver’s license...as we continue our push to hire more drivers, we’re doing what we can to better attract additional personnel,” says CDOT Human Resources Director Susan Rafferty.

Other openings include Communications Intern, Engineer, Engineering Technician, and more! For a closer look at the available opportunities, just click HERE.
