Deion Sanders Discusses Colorado Wildlife in Hilarious Video

One of the most celebrated NFL players of all time and current head coach of the University of Colorado-Boulder’s football team, Deion Sanders, recently made some hilarious comments about Colorado’s wildlife during a press conference.

While donning a distinguished salt and pepper beard, black cowboy hat, and gold CU Buffs jacket, the University of Colorado-Boulder head coach, Deion Sanders, affectionately known as “Coach Prime,” took a detour from talking about football to discuss a recent trip to Estes Park.

After being asked about his bye-week by a reporter, Sanders first spoke about a trip he’d made to Texas, where, while fishing, he accidentally caught a large turtle that, according to Coach Prime, is “no longer with us.”

The reporter then brought up a recent trip that Coach Prime made to Estes Park, where Sanders corroborated the story and explained that while he did make a trip to the picturesque mountain town, he “couldn’t get out of the car.”

He went on to explain that while he wanted to walk around Estes Park and do shopping, he opted not to because of the presence of some type of wildlife that he believes were either moose or elk.

Obviously confused, Sanders hilariously asked members of the press, “What’s a moose?” This question, while largely unanswered, was followed by Sanders explaining that moose, elk, and deer are “all like family” to him.

This was followed by Sanders explaining, “I saw a lot of big animals around Estes and I’m not used to that, so it was great,” with a further explanation as to why he stayed in his vehicle, citing deer crossing the road in front of his car and the fact that the coach “didn’t want to hit them.”
