Rocket’s stint on the legendary sketch comedy would be short-lived, however, as on February 21, 1981, following a sketch that parodied the ‘Dallas’ episode titled, ‘Who Shot J.R.?,’ Rocket would utter an expletive live on the air that would contribute to his firing shortly thereafter.
