Colorado casinos saw increased revenue in 2018.

I'm not a big gambler. I work hard for what little money I make so I can't see wagering it when the odds aren't in my favor. I know many of you enjoy a trip to the casino and that number is growing as 2018 was a record-setting year for Colorado casinos.

Black Hawk, Central City, and Cripple Creek reaped in a combined $842.1 million in revenue last year. The folks that track that kind of info, the American Gaming Association says that number shows a 1.7% increase over the 2017 take.

The Improving company may have something to do with it too. Overall, Colorado is doing pretty well. Tourism is up. Weed sales broke the $1 Billion mark, and the record-setting snowpack led to one of the best ski seasons ever! Will the trend continue in 2019 and the following year? I'm betting it will! You're right, I  said I'm not a gambler but fine to make a wager when my money's not involved.
