New Bigfoot Sighting in Colorado: Real or Fake?
Colorado has everything.
Mountains, rivers, skiing, fishing, bigfoot, craft beer, multiple universities, agriculture, millions of trees, an international airport, Bigfoot, Rocky Mountain National Park, Mesa Verde, bicycle-friendly cities, and lots of other fun and cool things.
And, yes, Colorado may even have Bigfoot.
A new video has been shared that even has bigfoot skeptics looking closer. The video was taken by a couple onboard the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge train. They were in the back of the train, and as you can tell from the video, they were not the only ones intrigued by the creature walking upright just across the hill.
Presumably, we all wonder if this is a human in a Bigfoot costume. The camouflage nature of this creature is impressive.
There have been several notable bigfoot sightings in Colorado. A retired school teacher even wrote a book called Stalked! My Encounter With a Colorado Bigfoot.
Sightings of Bigfoot, also known as a Sasquatch, happen more often than you may think. There is an official map of sightings that shows most sightings in Washington state, but there are sightings listed all over the country. You can also report your bigfoot sighting using the Bigfoot Mapping Project.
According to the History Channel, sightings of Bigfoot officially date back to 1958. Some loggers in Northern California had written a letter to a newspaper editor sharing the story of the huge 16-inch footprints they had found. There are some reports from early settlers that talk about Bigfoot-type sightings.
