Growing up I played football from as early as 6-years-old, and I’m so glad that I did. It taught me so many life lessons and introduced me to lifelong friends while playing a sport I love. And like most kids, I always looked forward to the opportunity to play with the bigger kids, or at least learn some tips or techniques to improve my game from those guys. This is why it is fantastic to find out that our Colorado Mesa University football team is hosting a free kids camp on Saturday, April 10th from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Stocker Stadium as part of their spring practice.

If you have kids that want to sign up from our college player they will need to sign up through a link on the CMU Mavericks website, click here.

To all players that will be attending this football camp, remember to show up ready to listen and participate. Coaches don't want to see you talking to friends, take this time seriously and get better at the most fun sport you will ever play.
