The NHL has suspended Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith for game four tonight, because of his penalty against Los Angeles Kings forward Jeff Carter in game three. The two players got involved about mid-way through the second period and Keith popped Carter in the face with his stick. Carter got a chipped tooth and 20 stitches is his face. Keith got a four minute penalty and will miss game four of the Western Conference finals.

The Blackhawks will miss Duncan Keith on the ice tonight. Keith is playing about 27:00 minutes per-game, that’s almost half the game. He also has 10 points in the playoffs with a goal and nine assists, and he’s a pretty good defenseman. The kings got their first win in the series in game three and will look to tie the series at 2-2 if they can win tonight. Once again,Chicagowill miss Duncan Keith on the ice tonight. The Kings will start the game hell bent for leather and will throw the kitchen sink at the Blackhawks. This is going to be a high contact hard hitting game and that is how playoff hockey should be.
