A body was unfortunately found behind Rimrock Marketplace in Grand Junction this past weekend. The cause of the 40-year-old female's death is still unknown.

On Saturday, January 4, a body was found near the railroad tracks off of Riverside Parkway. According to KKCO, the body was found behind Lowe's in the Rimrock Marketplace.

The deceased is 40-year-old Catherine Pokusa from Clifton. She was unfortunately found dead and the cause of her death is currently unknown. Her death is currently under investigation and the cause and manner are pending toxicology, according to KKCO.

The Grand Junction Police Department is currently investigating Catherine Pokusa's death. According to KKCO, there is nothing suspicious about her death at this time.

Catherine Pokusa was in the news about a year ago for crashing her car, then boarding a school bus by lying about who she was. According to KKCO, she crashed a car while high on drugs and then boarded a school bus headed to Fruita Monument High School. She lied and told the driver that she was a bus driver in training for Student Transportation of America and needed a ride, according to KKCO.

Whenever the bus got to Fruita Monument High School, she attempted to flee but was caught and arrested by Colorado State Patrol the Fruita Police Department. She faced criminal impersonation charges, driving under the influence and more.
