The Great America Race is this Sunday. Where are you watching?

It's more than a race. It's NASCAR's 'Super Bowl'. Their biggest race of the year. It's much more than even that. It's much like the start of Major League Baseball Spring Training. A sign that spring's "right around the corner."

I admit it, I'm a race fan. Living in Lawrence, Kansas before moving here I was less than 20 miles from The Kansas Speedway. My rock station in Topeka took winners to every race on a 'party bus'! Needless to say...we had a good time!

There's no more football and it's too early for "March Madness" so the Daytona 500 is the best sports on Sunday. Here's are Grand Junction's Top Sports Bars and great places to watch The Great America Race.

Wrigley Field- Located at 1810 North Avenue in Grand Junction, it's been a mainstay for Sunday sports for years. A sports bar where you can order breakfast too. Not many places can make that claim to fame. There are lots of TV's so getting a view of the race won't be a problem.

Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar- A large bar area and if the weather's nice a patio to take in the race. Known for their pizza and burgers. The appetizers are great as is their gourmet pasta dishes. You'll find them at 2404 Patterson in Grand Junction.

Warehouse 25 Sixty Five-  Warehouse 25sixty-five is a combination live music venue, restaurant, and sports bar. This Kitchen + Bar fuses classic tavern fare, wholesome dishes, preferred drafts, original cocktails, and award-winning wines. The food is excellent. Be sure and try The Albuquerque Turkey!

Cruisers Bar- This neighborhood bar has been a football game watching tradition in Grand Junction for many years. It's also a fine place to watch the race. You'll find it at 715 Horizon Drive behind and in the back!
