When you're not familiar with a community, you find yourself lost at times. I came across this and wasn't quite sure what to make of it. The sign says "Artists Wanted, but you MUST register inside with Get Air first.  Anyone who does not register could be charged with trespassing and vandalism".

I'm trying to not rely on my GPS to take me everywhere I want to go. You can't learn a city if you type in the address and let the voice tell you where to go. I wound up a couple blocks south of intended destination and was surprised to see all the artwork along the bottom of the building.

This is interesting. "Forms of Flight" perhaps is the title? Whatever the meaning it's very impressive work.

I used to read the Calvin & Hobbes comic strip all the time. I always loved the trouble this little hellraiser and his furry friend got themselves into. When I saw the mural on the side of the building, I had to take a picture.

This is pretty self-explanatory. Since pigs fly "Now What?" Clever stuff indeed.

Last week I posted a story about the "artwork" under the 5th street bridge. Again, I admire the work. The almost three-dimensional effect the shading, and use of color, created by the artist is amazing. I guess this is indeed art since you must have permission to paint on the side of the building.

I'm not sure what this is, but back to the original question, "What's the meaning of all this?" I looked up the website on the sign and discovered it's for the Get Air Trampoline Park. I tried to give them a call to get some answers, but nobody picked up. I speculate that the owners decided to embrace the art in their neighborhood instead of trying to fight it? Whatever the story, it's an interesting concept and If I had any artistic skill, I'd be all about leaving my mark on the side. Perhaps you know more? Art rocks, wherever you may find it.
